Poking Around

I had slightly better results. I was checking out CD Poker, just poking around. I had $13 there that I'd won in an ITH league freeroll a few months ago, so it's an account I don't really figure into my reckoning. I jacked $5 off someone at $20 NL. Lost it back on the .25/.50 limit table, though. That table was a call-o-rama fishfest. I was just card dead. Only hand I got was KK, but when you've got KK UTG+1, you're the second person in the pot and you raise, but get 6 callers, you know you're unlikely to win the pot by showdown.  (K6s UTG hit her runner runner flush after flopping NOTHING, to take it down. I folded the turn...)

Played a $10+1 at Stars. Mostly I just wanted to see if I would get double FPPs for a SNG. I did not - just the regular 5 per $1 of fees. I was playing tight and enjoying some donk getting very lucky and then being irritating in chat. I got a free look with T8s, and flopped an OESD with an A on the board. Luckbox made a small bet, not enough to fold an OESD, so I called. Turn was another A, Luckbox made another small bet, still not enough to fold an OESD, so I called. I rivered the nut straight, and luckbox tried to Ammbo me, so I went all in. He waited forever and called. Wouldn't you know my river card also hit his kicker to fill up his aces?

Went to Pitbull Poker and sat at a NL table wilst I waited for the freeroll to start. I stacked some clown for $15 when I flopped a set and his TP ten-kicker wasn't the powerhouse he thought it might be. Freeroll stars and I get AJo on the first hand. UTG goes all-in and I call (freeroll tactics - I suspected he had nothing) He shows T9o, but flopped a 9, and I was "one and done"!

Did a 6-seat $1+.25 SNG at Pitbull Poker and won it. for $3.90. I am 2 for 2 on those now.  I had such an enormous chip lead when we went heads up, that I would have been really embarrassed to lose it.
